The model achieves its extraordinary weight through the use of light weight wood with a gloss finish, a light weight magazine tube and an ultra thin recoil pad. The model boasts a new receiver design with a new high phosphorus nickel based treatment and an elegant golden trigger.

The AL391 Light features Beretta’s unique Self Cleaning System (SCS) piston which reduces maintenance by 50% and increases reliability by 40%. In addition, this new model also boasts Optima-Bore® barrels and Optimachoke® Plus tubes which improve shot pattern distribution and reduce felt recoil. The Optimachoke® Plus tubes are also engineered to resist steel shot stress and corrosion.
