A Branthwaites (Gunsmiths) was established in 1968
The Driving force behind the business is Arthur Branthwaite
Having always been interested in guns and shooting sports he was first introduced to shooting by his grandfather. Mr. R.E. Brantwaite was a keen country sportsman and is pictured below (with the cigar) in an extract from the Bystander magazine in 1923 attending the Midland Counties Spaniel Field Trials.
