I am updating my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. Despite being a loyal customer for over two years and having spent a significant amount at this shop, I was disappointed with my recent experience. When I went in a few days ago to purchase a suppressor and asked about a possible discount, I was met with an abrupt refusal from an older, overweight man. His refusal alone wouldn't have prompted me to leave this review, but the lack of courtesy or apology was disheartening. The dismissive attitude of the staff member, who didn't even acknowledge me, made me feel like the shop only saw me as a walking wallet. The only reason I might consider returning is because of the convenience of your location, as you are the closest gun shop to me, not because I enjoy the experience. Even the dog in the shop seemed more welcoming than you.What a shame, because the other man has always been polite and well mannered like a real gentleman.
Pleasant service, set up was completed as we waited. Lovely dogs gave a good welcome also. Parking a bit of an issue but if your car is not too low slung you can park out front (keeping the pavement clear of course:)
My brother introduced me to the guys @ A Branthwaite Gunsmiths and I wish he hadn’t, I spent a couple of hours in the shop initially looking at what they had to offer. They were very patient, and extremely helpful.. needless to say I came away with exactly what I wanted…
Bought a Glock 17 gen 5 (excellent pellet gun btw) last week from these guys and the service is just great. The prices are very competitive and the staff dead friendly, there’s even a super gorgeous dog 🐕 friend called Chester. All this on my doorstep.I’m a happy camper 😎

I have bought guns and ammo here for years good friendly staff especially Steve who works on Saturday ( He’s not paying me for saying that honest ) The only downside is parking you have to park on the pavement in front of shop .But good place to talk about shooting and get advice.
I decided to send my Hw110 to Branthwaites for full strip and service after hearing of them numerous times at my local range. Now I know what all the fuss was about.After a brief conversation to ascertain my requirements, the rifle was sent via postal courtier to Branthwaites.The service and tune where completed in a timely manner with excellent customer care throughout.On recieving the rifle back I hurried to the range to compare the pre and post service and tune results. Visited the shop last Saturday, Mark and Steve were super helpful, I got a cracking part ex on my existing gun and walked away with a very beautiful Weihrauch HW 100 KT, great people to deal with, nothing was too much trouble, even fitted my new scope, very happy👍

Bought a Berretta pistol from the shop, used it for the first time on Sunday. After the first magazine it was unable to be used due to a fault. I returned to the shop on the Tuesday and showed them the issue. Without question the exchanged it.These gentlemen are so polite and professional it's a shame there kind of servicer no longer exists. I would recommend this shop every time.

I recently purchased a tx200 hc from this gun shop. I have never visited this shop before , but I felt confident speaking to the staff regarding this purchase. I received the package on time and on inspection I found it to be exactly as described, it was a second hand gun and exceeded my expectations. I will use this company again when nessesary and am very happy to recommend them . I live 200 miles from Cheshire but if ever I find myself close in future I will definitely be calling in . I recently bought a second hand air rifle from A Branthwaite and was very happy with my purchase. The shop had only just opened again after lockdown , but they still managed to provide a friendly and professional service. The rifle was sent via RFD transfer and it arrived on time, well packaged, with no issues at all. Would certainly purchase from here again.
Spot on shop, went in to buy an air gun later than I realized, a few minutes before closing, the chap couldn't be more helpful. I could tell he was a proper enthusiast. Good old fashioned service from a trusted business.
Absolutely fantastic service. I was after a couple of air guns, rang up and spoke to a gentleman called John who checked they were in stock and put both items to one side for me to collect. My old air rifle 45 years old hence I was due a replacement - Looking for full package, decent PCP gun, scope, silencer, bag, pellets, pump - After quite a search on line for the best value I chose Brathwaite's. I bought an Air Arms ultimate sporter at a very good price. Lowest I could find anywhere actually - travelled a fair way to the busy little shop - staff were very informative, explained, advised me on various matters and set the gun up for me. Thank you gents for you time and patience - I did have an issue with the pump which was resolve within 2 days - replacement hose posted - hence I have every confidence regards further support if ever needed - - highly recommended - Happy shooting - - -
