COVID – 19 LOCKDOWN NOVEMBER UP DATE
You can still phone between 10 am – 5 pm to make arrangements to drop your airgun in for service or repair. The airgun will go into quarantine for at least 72 hours before being examined. If the airgun requires parts not in stock, delays repairing the airgun will be likely. Please allow at least two weeks minimum turn around. The gun shop remains closed, arrangements will be made in front of the store. Photo ID required. The airgun must be in a gun slip/cover. Please follow the Government Covid 19 safety guidelines when visiting the front of our store.
At A. Branthwaite Gunsmiths we have experienced members of staff that have been repairing and servicing airguns for many years. We specialise in the repair and service of many different types of air rifles and air pistols including, Pre-charged (PCP), Spring (Break Barrel / Under-lever) and CO2.
We specialise in servicing and repairing the following air rifle brands; Air Arms, Brocock, BSA, Daystate, FX Airguns, Hatsan, Umarex, Walther, Webley, and Weihrauch.
To arrange the repair or service of your airgun simply contact the store on 0161 485 1199 to book your air rifle or air pistol in. Alternatively you may call into the store.
Service or repairs of airguns usually take 7 working days. This is to allow for the acquisition of parts, if they are not already kept in stock. We also require an adequate period of time after completing the airgun service or repair for testing.
Our Terms for Airgun Repair or Service:
Pricing the job, we can only provide estimates of the potential costs. The cost depends on the part(s) required.
Once we have discussed the potential problem we can agree what work may be require to complete the job and provide a more accurate cost.
Please be aware in some circumstances some repairs may require additional parts which cannot be determined until the airgun has been stripped down and inspected.
You must be over 18 years of age to collect your air weapon or accompanied by an adult. Photographic identification will be required. We will require your address details and a contact phone number.
Please remove all unnecessary accessories ie, Scopes, Mounts & Bi-Pods
If your air rifle is a PCP / pre-charge we will require the magazine and fill probe adaptor.
Once your item is ready for collection we will contact you.
We maintain the right to refuse any repair.
